
The Task: Show the benefits of becoming a student at the Zarb School of Business
The Process: A main objective of the Zarb social media page is to promote the Zarb School of Business and get more new students. From personal experience and secondary research, I found how many students are concerned about the impact their education will have on their life. Through further social media research, I saw a lack of this critical content. This being, I created a compelling infographic highlighting these key statistics. I first used materials such as pamphlets to gather accurate and valuable statistics. I then used Adobe Express to create an infographic, tying in the fundamentals of graphic design. Adhering to Hofstra colors, I highlighted numbers to grab attention and show importance. I used larger fonts to provide a precise call to action with supporting evidence behind. To put everything together, I used Hootsuite to schedule content and create a caption.
The Result: This post had an engagement rate of 7.19% and received 56 likes, exceeding the 1.00%-5.00% benchmark. Using design elements and content gave both the audience the essential information they craved and promoted the Zarb School, thus reaching campaign goals.
