Flipping Perspective for Practical Career Advice and Zarb Student Engagement

The Task: Inform Zarb students about career opportunities within the business industry through relevant social media content.

The Process: Research into prior career-focused posts revealed a saturation of student perspectives. In order to create a distinctive and effective post, I instead decided to center content around the recruiters. I attended Hofstra University’s Career Fair to interact directly with the business recruiters, leveraging interpersonal and communication skills that secured participation from 5 companies. Lastly, I used Adobe Express and Hootsuite to finalize edits and captions.

The Result: This post had an engagement rate of 9.26% and received 55 likes, exceeding standard engagement rates of 1.00%-5.00%. The content brought a unique perspective to business students that successfully reached the campaign objective.
